About Holly Holbrooks, MD
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience evaluating and treating adults in a variety of community settings across the spectrum of mental health and illness. I have significant experience working with health care workers, public educators, activists, and others whose mental health has been impacted as they continue to work in service within their communities.
I have particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ identified individuals, and anyone whose mental health has been impacted by marginalization, discrimination, racism, historical and cultural trauma, and other forms of oppression.
I would describe my treatment approach as pragmatic and open. I strive to provide accurate information and feedback in a warm and nonjudgmental manner, and to understand and acknowledge the limitations and biases inherent in my role.
